Lindsay Lohan Admits To Failing Drug Test

And THIS is why early discharges from rehab are generally a bad idea {sigh}. Lindsay Lohan confessed on twitter that she had, indeed, failed a drug test.
Regrettably, I did in fact fail my most recent drug test and if I am asked, I am prepared to appear before judge Fox next week as a result.
TMZ is now reporting that Lindsay actually failed two drug tests. In addition to landing her in jail, this setback could also further derail Lindsay's career, according to TMZ.
Lindsay is now relying on Judge Elden Fox to allow her to leave California to shoot "Inferno" in Louisiana and possibly fly to New York City for "Saturday Night Live."
Here's the problem. Sources connected with the case have been telling TMZ ... if Lindsay were to fail a drug test the judge would probably pull the plug on out-of-state-travel -- a privilege for Lindsay, not a right.
...But all bets are off now that Lindsay has flunked two tests.
And sources close to Lindsay somehow already know the big wigs on "Inferno" are pissed that she may have screwed up again, so flying to Louisiana may be a moot question.
You can't really blame the 'Inferno' producers for being upset. It looks like the best thing for Lindsay at this point is a long-term stay in an inpatient facility that focuses solely on drug abuse (not drug problems and psychiatric problems, which is what the UCLA program did).
This is really just TOO sad.

After the first five films in the franchise cast a combined $4.5 billion spell on the movie-going public, it was inevitable: "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," J.K. Rowling's final, 759-page book in the boy-wizard series, was going to be split into two separate movies.

" 'The Deathly Hallows' is so rich, the story so dense and there is so much that is resolved that after discussing it with [Rowling], we came to the conclusion that two parts were needed to do it justice," producer David Heyman said in a statement explaining the move at the time.
The announcement came in March 2008, well before "Half-Blood Prince" added a cool $934 million to that already gargantuan total. Good call, Warner Bros.! Now, part one of "Deathly Hallows" is upon us, and MTV News has got coverage of the flick stretching back to when the one-into-two-movies decision became public. Before you hop on your broomstick and swoop into the multiplex — or, you know, just take a car — check out everything there is to know about "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1."
The Split
OK, so we knew the book would be divided into two movies, but the big question was where the first movie would end and the second begin. We put that query to Emma Watson, a.k.a. Hermione Granger, in '08.
"I don't know," she admitted. "I am as intrigued as you are. I am waiting at the moment to receive the script. It's a tough call. I'm sure it will be some cruel cliffhanger."
Right. Later, director David Yates dropped us a hint about the split. "We've had three or four different ideas about where to cut off the seventh film," he said. "Traditionally, the movies have ended with a death or a bereavement, some sort of passage or arrival. This time we think we will end with more a cliffhanger."
For a while, there was a rumor that "Part 1" would indeed end with a cliffhanger: Harry and his friends would be captured and brought to Malfoy Manor, but that didn't turn out to be true. The film, it turned out, would end when Voldemort gains control of the Elder Wand, one of the three Deathly Hallows that allow the holder to conquer death. And that, we learned after a recent screening, is exactly when the credits roll.
The 3-D
As "Avatar" made its record-breaking climb to box-office immortality, Warner Bros. announced that "Deathly Hallows" would be getting a post-production conversion to 3-D.
" 'Harry Potter' is already an epic film, but having that added dimension will make it even more epic, and that seemed like an opportunity that was too hard to pass up," producer Heyman told us in March of this year.
By that point, though, the conversion process still hadn't been started. Would it be finished in time? And would the 3-D be high-quality enough to please fans jaded by substandard three-dimensional fare like "Clash of the Titans"? Apparently not. The studio announced in October that it was canceling 3-D for "Part 1." "We do not want to disappoint fans who have long anticipated the conclusion of this extraordinary journey," Warner Bros. said in a statement.
Staring Into the 'Hallows'
The shoot got started in early '09, and months before production wrapped, we'd already received our first official look at the film. It was rather uninspiring, a simple photo of Hermione, Ron (Rupert Grint), and Harry (Daniel Radcliffe). Eh. Thankfully, subsequent peeks at the flick more than fulfilled expectations.
Look, there's Harry with his trusty wand. There's the first trailer, with a Voldemort vs. Harry throwdown and a peek at footage from 'Part 2.' And a snap of Harry riding shotgun with Hagrid. And a final, high-intensity, super-dark trailer.
As Rufus Scrimgeour says, "These are dark times, this is no denying."
What the Kids Have to Say About 'Potter'
The fun kicked off in London last week during the London red-carpet premiere, the boys looking spiffy in their ties and the girls all glam in their haute couture. MTV News traveled across the pond for some one-on-one time with the cast. Both Watson and Radcliffe had some funny stuff to say about their surprising onscreen smooch.
"It was only the day before that they said, 'Oh, by the way, we hope it's all right, but we want you to be topless, and we're going to cover you in silver paint,' " Watson told us. "It was awkward enough as it was without the silver paint and the strapless bra, but whatever. It works. It looks good for the story."
Said Radcliffe, "I thought it was going to be a kind of a slow, sensual thing, and Emma really went for it."
We flew back to New York for another red-carpet premiere, just days before Friday's (November 19) release.
"It's sad, absolutely," Radcliffe said about the series coming to an end. "[But] we're going out on a high note. To sustain this level of quality for 10 years is a very rare thing in a big franchise. I think it's us and 'Toy Story,' to be honest. I think we've done amazingly. I'm thrilled."

Ke$ha's don't-call-it-an-EP, do-call-it-a-companion-piece Cannibal doesn't hit stores until Tuesday, but since roughly three-quarters of the songs are online already, she's decided to just post the whole thing right now.
Yes, fans can now hear all of Cannibal right now on Ke$ha's website, and all they have to do is enter their Twitter handle, Facebook account or MySpace ID to do so.
"This is my album premiere, and it's top secret, and it's really fun and it's wild," Ke$ha said in a message posted on her site (in which she is rather inexplicably dressed like Maverick from "Top Gun"). "Things are going to get crazy and a little awkward, it'll be okay. Listen to it."
Yeah, seriously, listen to it. Because while most of Cannibal has already leaked — including, of course, first single "We R Who We R," the banging, clanging "Sleazy," the title track and the bumping club track "Blow" — there are still plenty of moments to discover. Look for "The Harold Song," which sees Ke$ha ditch her snarling shtick to lament over a lost love; "Crazy Beautiful Life," where she looks back on how far she's come — from her days as a "sh--ty waitress" to an internationally famous pop star — over a beat lifted from an old NES; "Grow A Pear," a kiss-off to "a dude with a vag"; and "C U Next Tuesday," an angry swipe at a scumbag guy who won't ditch his ex.
Loaded with glitchy beats and coated in a slick lacquer of Auto-Tune, Cannibal follows in the footsteps of Ke$ha's breakthrough Animal but also finds her stretching her legs, both as a songwriter and a singer. It's a companion piece to that album and a capper on the past (very hectic) year of her life. Like Ke$ha said, things get a little bit crazy, and a little awkward, but you should most definitely listen. And then get ready for whatever she does next.

After a string of high-profile guest stars and theme episodes, "Glee" will reportedly take on Michael Jackson's "Thriller" next in a mash-up with a yet-to-be-chosen song for the show's post-Super Bowl episode, according to Entertainment Weekly.
The episode, which will be co-sponsored by General Motors, is said to be the most expensive of the series' history and likely one of television's priciest episodes ever. Despite the cast's "Thriller" mash-up, the broadcast will not serve as a tribute episode to the late King of Pop, but will feature contemporary covers of the Black Eyed Peas, Lady Antebellum and Katy Perry.
As for how Jackson's song will be incorporated into the show, the EW source revealed that the episode will have a sports theme by focusing on the local football championship and Sue Sylvester's cheerleading regionals. The "Thriller" mash-up is expected to play onscreen during the game's halftime.
In addition to the timeless tune, Darren Criss and Dot-Marie Jones will reprise their roles as Blaine and Coach Beiste for the big time production.
Earlier this year, rumors swirled about who the post-Super Bowl episode would pay homage to, including Bruce Springsteen. However, the source admitted that the only star considered for the episode was Elton John. Gleeks can expect a tribute episode for John as one of the season's remaining episodes.
Back in August, "Glee" star Lea Michele shared her idea for the episode. "I think they are saving Justin Timberlake for the Super Bowl episode," she told The Hollywood Reporter. "They have to be, because he is so perfect for our show. He has to be on it! When I met Jessica Biel, like a loser, I asked her to tell Justin to come on our show. [Laughs.] She was a little taken aback and said, 'Um, OK. I'll tell him.' "

Steve Kloves, who penned the scripts for seven of the eight "Harry Potter" films, rarely gives interviews. He has popped up at just one red-carpet premiere for the boy-wizard franchise. He's a guy, in other words, who likes to stay in the background. But he'll take responsibility for one thing: If fans hate "Deathly Hallows," it's all his fault.
"If people like a 'Harry Potter' movie, it's because of the book," he told the Los Angeles Times. "But if they don't like it, then it's my fault."
That might be overstating the case just a bit, though Kloves certainly has his fair share of haters within the "Potter" fan community. But there's a reason Warner Bros. turned to him again and again to adapt J.K. Rowling's novels for the big screen: one heck of a track record. His "Potter" screenplays (all but 2007's "Order of the Phoenix") have provided the backbone for $4.7 billion in worldwide box-office receipts and counting.
Yet the self-deprecating scribe gives much of the credit to Rowling, with whom he's struck up a deep creative friendship. "The single greatest thing I take from the experience of the past 10 years is becoming friends with Jo," Kloves said. "That's a separate thing from all of this now, separate from 'Potter,' and it's become a very important part of my life. I used to say she's the coolest chick on the face of the planet. You read that first book and you thought, 'Angela Lansbury wrote this book,' then you meet her and she knows all of your music references and she's funny. The first thing you pick up sitting down with her though is the intelligence. We had to make movies as smart as her books and as smart as her."
Leave it to others in the "Potter" brain trust to argue that Kloves bears as much responsibility for the franchise's success as anyone. "I think it's a really terrific partnership of two really fabulous writers," "Deathly Hallows" director David Yates said. "There is also a kind of delicacy and poignancy that he finds in some moments. He's a real observer of small human touches."

Beyonce Pregnancy Rumors Surface Again

Back in March, rumors that Beyoncé was pregnant were quickly shot down by the singer's rep. Now, seven months later, the same rumors are back. On Wednesday (October 20), UsMagazine.com reported that unnamed sources say B and her rap mogul husband, Jay-Z, are expecting a bundle of joy.
"B was shocked," one source reportedly told the site. "She loves kids, but she wasn't ready to be a mother just yet. She really wanted to get her album done and tour the world again." Another source added, "This is a gift from God and she's so happy." Although nothing is confirmed from Beyoncé or Jay-Z, it's being reported that the singer is in her first trimester.
The pair has always kept their private life private, but Beyoncé has been open to talking about motherhood. Earlier this year, she spoke to Allure magazine about the prospect of being a mother. "I definitely want to have a child, but I know from my nephew it's a lot. I hope that those things will just happen naturally. I still haven't had time to relax," she said.
The pair married in April 2008 and that same year Beyoncé told "Access Hollywood" there was a loose timeline of when she might want to have children. She explained, "The kids, I don't know ... in three years, maybe. It's a lot of work."
Regardless of whether or not she is pregnant, fans have been gearing up for a different kind of new arrival from B. Late last month, many speculated that Beyoncé would soon release a new single after producer Los Da Mystro — a frequent collaborator of The-Dream, who worked with Tricky Stewart on "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" — tweeted that he was listening to a new track that was going to be released in three weeks. That was in late September. No new music has been released yet.
