This October, QVC and the Fashion Footwear Association of New York (FFANY) will take another step forward in the fight against breast cancer. In honor of national breast cancer awareness month, they will once again join forces to broadcast QVC Presents FFANY Shoes on Sale, a charitable shoe sale to benefit breast cancer research and education. This year's program is scheduled to air on QVC on Saturday, October 15 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m (ET). Celebrity fans include: Dancing With the Stars' Karina Smirnoff, The Bachelorette?s Ali Fedotowsky, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Lisa Vanderpump, socialite Kathy Hilton and actress Lisa Rinna.
After this week's Saturday Night Live, hosted by Ben Stiller, the after-party was held at Park Avenue Tavern. The show's musical guest, Foster The People, SNL regular Bobby Moynihan and Kenny G (who sang with The Band on SNL) kicked back after the taping and enjoyed a few drinks. The guys from Foster enjoyed beers from Park Avenue Tavern's self-serve table taps and Bobby sipped on Jameson.

The donation will significantly impact the organization's operations budget, which has been under tremendous pressure due to enormous shifts in federal, state and private funding.
